EntrepreneurLaw and Tax Changes

NIE residence

Today we have the collaboration of Antonio Doblas de Doblas Abogados, a lawyer with more than 25 years of experience and a specialist in Immigration, among other matters.

In this article, he explains how to request the NIE (Foreigner Identity Number) and the TIE (Foreigner Identity Card). The use of an expert lawyer like Antonio Doblas will save you time and queues, speed up the procedure and solve all the doubts that may arise throughout this tricky administrative procedure.

In the current situation caused by COVID, in which the Public Administration works slow, officials are teleworking and you also need to request a PREVIOUS APPOINTMENT for any administrative procedure. Therefore, in this article, I am going to explain everything you need to know about how to obtain the NIE and the TIE.

Here, you can see an example of a TIE. Among other things, it is the document that proves the identity of the foreigner in Spain, as well as the legal regime that applies to it. This card has the NIE. It is important to know that there may be people who have NIE, and yet they do not have a TIE, I will explain it to you below.
